it came across my mind a few minutes ago then i got curious where do you guys buy your games from? target, walmart,or gamestop? Or possibly a local videogame store..or possibly online from ebay or amazon? i get mine from gamestop and if online amazon what about you?
Depends on what I'm getting. For new games I usually go to Wal Mart as my wife works there so we get a discount. If I just want a used one I go to GameStop, although I've been going less lately, and probably will keep that trend, now that I have GameFly again. I typically only buy the games I know I'll play over and over, and sadly that's not very many, usually only major RPGs and such.
EB/Stop is never getting my dollar. After what they've been trying to do to the game developers **** them. I buy from our local Game Exchange or Amazon.
GameStop, mainly because it's right next to my house. But I'm not a fan of console games. I only bought some games for PC and tons of games for friends.
Well, I don't purchase anything at gamestop because every time I buy a new game from there it doesn't want to work. And there are scratches on them. Also on the previous page I mentioned when my friend bought a console there it was defective.
All major purchases go to Wal-mart & best buy. Used games that I want to test out though I will get at gamestop and if I dislike them I will return it and get my money back.
Wal-mart & gamestop are down the street from me. Best buy is a couple miles farther. So I just go to wal-mart the most. But if their are bundles then I'll go to best buy and buy the consoles/games there.
Usually I go to Wal-Mart for something new but if I want an old Xbox360 game then Gamestop. All I've seen at Target is old games and they don't have a huge selection.
So basically I guess Best Buy is good for getting consoles and laptops and accesories for your consoles, but for games Gamestop all the way. (atleast for me) I don't like going to Walmart, in fact I think that I was in a walmart only once.
i only bought one or two games from walmart i just hate the fact that they have there games behind glass so you have to walk to the counter get someone to help you then go back to the counter to buy it
actually there idiots cuz what they do is they dont actually put the game in the case they just show the case and they have the actual disc behind the counter i know they have behind the glass so no one steals it but i want to look at the back and see what info is there so i dont like it behind glass
i want to look at the back and see what info is there so i dont like it behind glass
Heh. I understand that. I like looking at the back for the screen shots and info. But you can just go to gamestop and do that. Then buy the game used and test it.
Eh... demos are kind of short and don't include all the features that are in the full game.
So I'll just ride on over to gamestop test it out for about half an hour or so then go return it if I don't like it. but If I do like it I'll still return it and just go to wal-mart that's next door to gamestop.
That's just me though. I don't know anyone that does this. And gamestop isn't even that far away from me. About a five minute drive.
