Hello, and thk for this great game, I have some trouble, i loot 2 Trapped Soul (Zombie and Vampire) it's tell me that a new unit can be created in my barrack, but nothing. I dont lose my gem, but how to creat a new unit with these gems ? thanks
I have all but one crafting recipe now, it refuses to drop and won't show up in the shop, it's pretty annoying. Finally got my house fully outfitted and all achievements except for the demon storyline one, which I'll have to do a 2nd run-through to get. Kind of annoying after putting in around 30 hours on my first save, but no big deal. I loved this game, my one suggestion would be to make ancient titans have their own dungeon instead of having to crawl through the mystery dungeon for an hour to reach the last floor. Oh and also, the defense game seems a bit pointless, add more waves and increase the difficulty so that you actually have to use your barracks troops - I didn't have to at all from tier 1 to tier 5.
Just a couple quick questions. First, in the combat screens, As the fight is going on, there are various things that flash beneath the thing you're fighting (ex. skull, etc.) I didn't see what these meant in the "instructions", anyone know? Second, I went to the Kongregate site where the various recipes are shown. Nice site, but whoever is writing the thread really gets in-depth with mathematical formulas etc. I'm not having much luck with the "crafting" part of the game and wanted to know how much of each skill you have to have (just a number) to craft. For example, number-wise, how much Artistry, Blacksmithing, Tailoring, etc. would be required (100? 200? 300?). Also, I do agree that the defense game is pretty pointless...it would have been better to have team members that could accompany you on the various quests.
Let me add to the questions. There is an achievement that says you have to upgrade your house. How do you upgrade your house? I've tried putting all kinds of items in it but have no idea if It's helping or hurting.
Regarding the icons that appear and vanish at the bottom of the screen below the player character and the enemy: those indicate status buffs and ailments. And no, I'm afraid I cannot explain all of them. The green blob is poison, which for some strange reason affects MP as opposed to HP (making it completely pointless when up against an enemy with no MP). Hopefully that bug will get fixed if it hasn't already been.
I agree that the defense game does get repetitive after a while. It would be better to be able to take one of your teammates with you when going through a dungeon, though how that would work since all non-defense battles are 1v1 I'm not sure.
