So, I make up some long, very elaborate lie reasonably explaining why Obad-Hai would have a Paladin in the first place, then an equally elaborate lie as to why I am recruiting children.

It's Hextor, and yes, my character is a Priest of Hextor, but just what purpose does this serve? Initiation, Self-gain, is there a reward involved, what's our motive here?
