So...I guess I'm temporarily DM'ing here. I'll just say that Calethen isn't here yet, or is gone, or whatever, and the rest of you can play. So, first off; what kind of game do you guys want to play? Bust down the door(a lot of action, fighting, combat, etc.), deep immersion(based mostly on noncombat situations, character interaction, character personal development, etc.), or something in between? They're not technically actual "game styles" but it's very important for the DM to know what kind of game the players want, so that the gameplay is the most fun for everyone. Also; fun or serious gameplay? For example, do you want me to have you guys find an "elemental brazier" or an "elemental brassiere"? Do you want to find a weapon that is described as "a futuristic 'hand grenade' as the dwarves had described" or "the Holy Hand Grenade, on which is written 'ull the pin, count to five-no, three!-and throw'", etc. You get my gist. So, I guess majority will rule. I just want some preliminary information before I start the game, yeah?
'i laughed at that since i herd of those on fallout
Actually, it's from Monty Python and the Holy Grail(Fallout's bit was a reference to it). If it turns out the players want funny gameplay, I can guarantee that you guys will not only fight a killer rabbit, but also cross a bridge where you have to answer the questions "What is your name, what is your quest, and what is your favorite color?" I love Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Anyway, so...
