The ship's crew is still at their posts, and when they see you approaching, you hear one of them yell:

Halfling (most likely the captain):
"Battle Stations, lads, looks like we got some trouble coming! YOU THERE, you'd best be walkin' away, if ye value breathin', lad!"

Lorethel:
"Who's in charge here?"

Halfling:
"That'd be me, Captain Percy Parkinson, and just who'd you be?"

Lorethel:
"I'd be Lorethel, former captain of the Vigilant, before the sea claimed her."

Percy:
"Well, sorry to hear that lad, but that I don't give a ****! What do you want?"

Lorethel:
"There's an island nearby, and on that island there supposedly resides some storm giant witch or something. I guess she's the one who's been conjuring up all these storms, and we need to kill her. To get there, we need your ship"

Percy:
"We ain't ascared of no storms, and just what would be in it for us if we let you come aboard?"

Lorethel:
"*whispering to party* Any of you got any money on you?"

"How about the lot of ye just let us use yer ship befer I have ter make ye."
Intimidate Check.

*Sound of dice rolling*

Percy:
"HAR HAR HAR! Ye be not but a landsmen, why should we listen to anything you say? Ye'd ave to scale the walls of me ship to take it without me permission, and we'd shoot ye down with arrows 'fore ye even came close. Surely ye can do better than that!"

He sighs.
"What's yer fee?"

Email.

Percy:
"Depends, how much ye think we're worth?"

email dragon.

"I'll give ye..... 1200 gold. That a fair deal?"

*Sound of dice rolling*
Percy:
"1200 gp, ye tryin' to insult me lad?! We make 3 times that much on a single haul in this little ole ship! NO DEAL!"

"I'll give ye 1900 and I'll fix up any wern armer ye got."

*Sound of dice rolling*
Percy:
"Hmmm, that be more reasonable, but we be needin some 'incentive', if ya know what I mean..."

"What do ye mean by 'incentive'?"

Percy:
"Well, ye say ya need us to ferry y'all thar and back, right? what's ta keep ya from tryin' to kill us once ye come aboard? How's about your womenfolk, ye gots any women round town, eh? We demand incentive on yer behalf, savvy?"

I heard it was a disappointment, what did you think Hyper?

He takes his ring off.
"This were ma mother's ring."

lol, I read all the books, and I gotta say, WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! Make sure you catch up to what's been happening here, cause DBS is out of commission, but hopefully he'll be back tommorow.

Percy:
"BAH, what use would a stupid little trinket like that be to us, eh?"
