A thin sheet of lead blocks all Detect and scrying/divination spells, inferring that you know from where the spell is being casted.

I never said he was wearing that, only stating how to avoid it; I'd say lead could be reasonably integrated into a set of metal armor enough for the wearer to be immune to all detect/scrying spells.

Since the spell is ON the metal, not in it, it would be easily detected regardless of composition.....
