I can easily use a kukri as a machete. The bevel on the blade is approximately 30*, where as an axe's is 25*, thus lending a greater degree of durability to the edge.

Yes, I know what a kukri is...and you will need to use that when, exactly, in your years of college and subsequent career?

Whatever. I just want my zombie survival kit.

Hyper, have you forgotten that I am a farm boy? I have used axes, machetes and cane knives for ****ed near everything.....
I'm aware, but you said you were going into physics. Physicist =/= farmboy =/= someone in need of a kukri. Doesn't matter what you've used it for in the past. Dibs, back me up here. It's a waste of your money.

Hey, don't look at me. I'm getting my self a few decorative blades, adn one as a present for a friend.

Hyper, what do you believe a Physicist needs, then?
Nothing of his or her own, really. They usually work in labs for a private company, or in the field on a grant. No need for a giant-*** knife, and if it's for self-defense you're better off with a gun.
So Hyper, you're telling me I shouldn't have anything I want just because I don't need any of it?
Nono, that's not what I meant. I assumed you were buying it for practical purposes since you brought up the whole tech specs durability thing and all. I mean, durability isn't really an issue if it's just decorative, right? Sorry.
