Zingnoff, you are on the first floor. They are on the second floor. They cannot hear you or see you.
@DH: Is Hail of Stone a 1st level spell or a cantrip?
As most of the rest of the party runs away, Xav takes the opportunity to go up front and stab a Ghoul with his rapier. It doesn't seem that affected, but it is injured. The Ghoul slashes at Xav with its talons, but misses. Then it slashes with its other hand, and misses again.
Otihand continues to shoot arrows at the Ghouls, and shoots one. He hits one in the shoulder, but does not kill it. Trafire runs back to where the battle is taking place and begins to cast Flare. Siber casts Hail of Stones, and two more Ghouls drop dead, leaving only eleven Ghouls left. Suddenly, the Ghouls at the doorway manage to shove Jozan aside and trample over him, chasing after the rest of the party. They reach the people at the front first, and four stay behind to attack the closest threat: Siber, Trafire, and Otihand. The other seven chase after the rest of the party, who are retreating. The first ghoul attacks Siber , but its claws skid off of his breastplate. The second and third ghouls both decide to attack Otihand. The first one slashes at him and misses, the second does the same. The third ghoul attacks Trafire, clawing at her, but it misses as well. The seven ghouls chasing the party have not caught up yet, but doubtless they will start to gain on the party once the party starts down the staircase to the first floor. Meanwhile, Jozan, who was lying in front of the master bedroom entrance, stunned, begins to recover. He returns to his feet, albeit somewhat shakily, and begins to run towards the four Ghouls attacking Trafire, Otihand, and Siber.
