Yeah they don't believe the mission part but Polidori walks out with a glass of wine in his hand, "what's going on here, oh it's you. What do you want?" His voice is laced with disdain.

Polidori, I know you are an agent of Croesus. What will you pay me for this?" She holds up the jeweled scimitar.

He takes it and examines it, "Ah yes I know the owner of this blade, only one person would have a weapon so gaudy."

What?
"Was he a captain of Croesus by cuance?"
"Yes he was, his name was Nezumi and he was a sniveling pest. He went missing a while ago when the initial search party didn't find him, we gave up or rather no one cared enough to send a second party."

I figured since it was so 'gaudy', in a room full of strange moss and he had been inexplicably smashed to death by Cactuses that the sword was a booby trap and a magnet for the Carnicactuses, and that Croesus probably wanted it since it was in the hajds of a dead expedition. Extrapolating fails me,,,,

"Oh, a shame. How much would you pay for it?"

Wow, that was actually a pretty good idea.
"Personally I wouldn't pay anything for that heinous thing."

No, that was Noobs' idea. Emily didn't leave Tala's side due to danger of imminent death.

"Hm. Well thank you for your time, I assumed it was more important than it really was. May I leave?"
