Pie is horrendous. The crust is not sweet, it's usually entirely too crispy (which creates a disproportion of crunchy/soft with the filling) and there is also too much variance between the crust and filling, in that there is usually too much crust and not enough filling. If I eat pie I just scoop out the filling and give the crust to my dog. Now muffins, THERE is a true blessing of culinary delight!

Wait...Which pie are we talking about here? The dessert or the mathematical equation which I think is spelled py or something like that? The equation is a curse and the dessert is a blessing.

I think pie is man made, god just gave us the ingrediants avaiable. Man then figured out how to make it.

I love pies but I don't believe in a religion so I can say if it is a blessing from Heaven or a curse from hell.

Pumpkin pie is great. That's the only one out of all the flavors that I eat. The crust on it is good. I admit that it's not sweet. But it's not crispy at all. I don't mind the crust. The filling is great. It taste great and it's so soft you barely have to chew it.

This is the type of pie that I enjoy:

Walker, where do you get your pie from?

Yah, I can't stand pumpkin pie, and I will admit that the filling helps keep the crust from being too crispy. And as for where I get my pie from, I usually make it myself for my wife. I wanted to be a chef when I was younger and took a fair amount of culinary courses. When I realized just how much work it takes vs. the average salary I decided to pursue other career options xD

"Pi" is not an equation, it's a number.

Pie makes everything better, with two exceptions:
Ice burg lettuce and watermelon.

Besides that, everything tastes better in pie than it does alone (I'm talking pure ingredients here, not full dishes).

It's true. Think about it.

The crust is not sweet, it's usually entirely too crispy (which creates a disproportion of crunchy/soft with the filling) and there is also too much variance between the crust and filling, in that there is usually too much crust and not enough filling

Then you should get a better pie recipe. That's like saying "hamburgers are bad, because the buns are always too small." Pie is a complicated dish. Really, the only people who should make pies are supernatural crime fighters:

I think it's both. The taste is a blessing from heaven, i could eat a whole pie on my own if i would really want to :P but how it makes you fat is a curse from hell

Pie is a gift from heaven you can make anything into pie, from breakfast to dessert, never underestimate the power of the almighty pie, you can make it healthy, you can make a pizza pie, strawberry rhubarb, strawberry, cherry, banana cream, chicken pot pie, baked alaska, lemon/key lime meringue pie, chococalte peanut butter pie, pomegranite, cheesecake-esque pie, cream, and anything in-between, there is nothing more almighty and malleable than pie!

I absolutely hate pumpkin pie, apple pie on the other hand is amazing. Other than that I'm neutral towards pie.

Also, Walker is right, Muffins > Pie.
