Couldn't this just go in the existing 2012 thread? It's hardly a debatable subject of conversation on it's own and would fit in well with a pre-existing topic.
Sure, the timezone is way ahead, but you really think it will all end on the same date? No, it won't, all at the same time, and based on what I've seen in the past month, I certainly believe the world will end in 2012, pretty much 2013.
