It is quite a major disaster so I was wondering if you outer-country people have heard it on the news? Fires one year, floods the next D:
People are already pannicking about the economy.

Side question

I'm not one of those people who think they're amateur envornmentalists that believe every global warming theory they hear, but what do you think we could do about all these disasters? Or is a lot just media exagerration?

From what I've currently been reading, they're spreading throughout Australia, just as Queensland is starting to recover so yea, I believe it's just some shock disaster, but hopefully they'll all recover.

I'm in NSW atm, And so far I think the floods have only hit the Northern Part of the state. Other states have been affected as well, and it Is a tragedy.

And What about the bananas, there gonna go SKY ROCKETING :'(

But seriously, its extremely sad, And my sympathy goes out to My fellow Australians affected.

The problem is these floods have interesting side effects in australia, such as crocodiles leaving their usual habitat to lurk in the flooded regions, or snakes seeking refuge in houses. Hope that noone gets hurt.

I live in nsw. we dont have a river so we will miss the flowing water.
1. Most sporting events etc england cricket + aust cricket are giving most of there match winnings/ ticket sales to the people in need.

2. The flood pron areas ARE not insured Due to the fact they know they live in a flood prone area.

3. There have been sights of Bull sharks but none have been found/Bitten

4.Snakes have been found more then sharks

5. NRL which is aust ruby league has 3 qld teams + 4 nsw teams working on houses and clean up

6. Aust has just finished a drought and the experts say it was going to happen

7. God Give help and hope to those people

It is disgusting how the Flooded areas aren't getting insurance for the floods. Its just wrong.

Of course, don't give credit to all the people not sleeping and constantly working.
Its just wrong.

But those people already knew they were flood prone and had already experienced floods? It's a question because I really don't know.
