Well, I use to be on the Armor Games forums a lot at one stage, and I've returned until school starts again.
I've noticed, Some Of my old friends here have just left. No word of where there gone or anything. I at least left a message somewhere that I was going on Hiatus(The Forums got really boring (They're still pre boring)).
I noticed this while looking through my list of friends.
This got me thinking of my Past on armor games, which leads me to this question.
Where did you begin?
If you're new, The question is, where do you want to be?
These questions can apply to the forums, or anywhere else.
Also, looking back on some comments made from long ago, my god Was a noob -.-
I signed up on Armor Games after playing many of the AG games on other sites like Exit Path, Epic Coaster and many more. I first started with other account and I used to play Exit Path all the time but I was so noob that I used to post comments like: "fun", "cool game", "not bad" and I lost like more than 1000 AP. So I made this account. And I am trying to do the best as I can on this site, playing new games all the time and trying to make better comments. I wasn't so active in the forums before and I am still not but I am trying to make at least 10 posts a day to be more active on AG.
I joined when I was like, 11 or something, and my age was reflected in my posts. Big time. I honestly have no idea how I found AG, I probably just clicked on a link to a game, and being myself I couldn't resist making an account. When I clicked on the community button I distinctly rememeber thinking "Community? Heh, bunch of nerds working on the site, and it'll probably have the 'Contact Us' stuff and probably a cheap scam to try and get my money".
Bloody happy I was wrong then, my mom saw an MSN conversation with Nicho which caused my first (I think) hiatus. No, second. And I've been coming back sporatically since

That's the funniest interpretation I've seen thus far. When I joined I was eleven too. Though I immediately recognized that community meant forums/message board.

It honestly wasn't that bad DX it was about girls and going to an all guy school which we both do now. Mom made a big deal out of it, which is what mothers are for I guess...
She came home late with Maccas and I forgot to close MSN XD
Oh woooooooow. It's almost been 2 years since I joined! Daaaaaaang I feel old. I was such a newb. i tlkd lk ths cz i wz usd 2 txtn so mch. i cnt stnd ths rght nw. Poor vowels.. Getting left out into todays text talk.
I found this site...... When I was 11 actually. I played all the time, but never made an account. Then when I was 13, I was like, Hey. Why don't I make an account? And BAM Here I am today. I remember feeling so cool cause I was the right age. I was actually able to tell the truth about my age LOL. I had a frickin email when I was 8. pfft. Technically, according to that email, I'm turning 31 in a few months.
I didn't really come back to AG when I first signed up. I was too busy repairing my real life. I became active around the time I turned 14, so about late august '09 I was a known newb. Then I took another looooong leave and then became active again in the summer of '10. I think I hit my popularity peak in the remain of '10. Past that, I've just been talking to the same ole people. Forums... I never really liked forums on any site. They seemed really stupid... I only commented and rated games. I remember the first person I actually talked to was 201. He intro'd me to a bunch of people, and that led to Ernie, and he intro'd me to the forums. I remember being really bored, and no one would respond to my comments, and I clicked Community and WHOOSH this place became my home site. First post, AMW, poetry contest. Pshya.
I lurve me some ArmorGames. This site really is the #1 Gaming community, despite those fakes that say they are. Kudos to founders and mods, and faithful members. 8D
I would agree with that. Except there are some people (slightly noobish people) that I can't stand whatsoever because some of them are kinda arrogant, but there are a lot of members that I respect/like
I joined this site when I was a freshie, seems like so long ago. Granted I didn't even use the site for the first 4 or so months after I signed up, probably because I didn't know about the forums at the time, haha. After that I started posting mostly in the WEPR, then moved over to the AMW, Tavern was avoided at all costs Around the time that the WEPR went stale, I began posting the in the Tavern out of sheer boredom, and here we are.
Quick fact: That was back when the -online- buttons on the profiles still worked
Because at the time the tavern was akin to the WEPR now, the topics were boring, there was a lot of spam, and it was just inane. Meh, maybe I just got a bad first impression...
