Welcome all Exit Pathers! This is a designated topic to have all types of convos about Exit Path. One of the purposes of this topic is to keep all conversational-type comments away from the game comments and have them here.
Speaking of which, does everyone like the current amount of runners per room? More? Less?
I think the current number of runners per room is fine but if you could choose a room with more players I think it would be a really cool thing. In the actual Exit Path, sometimes a bug happens and there are 6 or seven people in the same room but only the correct number can play and the lobby gets all messed up.
By the way, while I was trying to improve my uniplayer time I saw that Faith got a 2:33 time.
I'm a little skeptic about his time there. I can understand around 2.40, but not that time. I've been looking for shortcuts all around the inside and outside levels but cannot find any newer ones. I suppose if he were to show a video of him getting 2.43 then I can have a general idea of how he got 2.33.
I don't see the need to be skeptical about a 2:33 time... In my opinion, after speaking with many EPers about new routes, one can put together a run with a very low time. Pain, Faith, etc. all have some good ideas about lowering run times. I think, for me, collaboration is the best part of exit path. That's what makes the dual nature of the game awesome -- on multi, we can share routes in real-time. On uni, we can share tips and tricks to really separate the cream of the crop -- the top, say, 24 uni times XD. Oh, and btw... ^AndieCandy's first post!!!!^ lol
be able to recognize yourself within a group of players all in the same spot
Yes. Currently when you play your character gets covered up by others on your screen, but if you had it so that your character was brought forward then the game would be easier with large numbers of people.

We saw "asd" and Zero get under 3:00 some months ago and all said the same thing. Now that same kind of thing is happening again. More people are getting better routes and setting higher scores. Just look at something like Olympic records from the 70's and today's to see a real life example.
haha. i love how lively this thread has gotten since EP2 beta was announced. for a while EP seemed dead, but now with EP2 coming out likely within the year, it seems it has new life.

I didn't say anything about Zero or ASD. I understand those times because I was only sixteen seconds behind with dying a lot.
2.33 is a short amount of time for uniplayer no matter what. I have searched throughout the whole game looking for newer shortcuts, better places to use flow, more double jumps. But, I can't find any worth time saving.

I'm not saying he cheated or anything, I just want to know what he did to get the time, what routes/shortcuts that he took while playing.

but you forget that faith is magical. Plus not showing his new route helps him stay on top. Ya know?

The thing is, after replaying uniplayer multiple times I can't find any new routes. I see places where I don't flow or use a double jump and I still get 3.00 with dying a lot. If I did do all the shortcuts and not die then I would get roughly around 2.45. But 2.33 just looks impossible.
