Monty Python(otherwise Graham Chapman) Jeff Dunham Jim Carrey (do you count actors?) Robin Williams Bill Murray George Burns Bob Hope Chappelle Eddie Murphy Ben Stein (if that counts as humor...) in the order of most to least favorite. I like anything by Monty Python and Jeff Dunham, I like George Burns, Ben Stein and Bill Murray's straight-faced jokes, the wackiness and spontaneity of Robin Williams and Jim Carrey, Bob Hope's simple yet elegant sense of humor, and the raw energy of Chappelle and Eddie Murphy's comedy. That describes in detail my absolute favorite Comedians. What do you think about them?
He's the closest thing you'll fine to an indie comedian (he performed standup at the last Pitchfork music festival, lol) but he's a genius and he's hilarious. He uses lots of absurd phrasing and non sequiturs and he's just awesome. His albums En Garde, Society! and God Is A Twelve-Year-Old-Boy With Asperger's are hilarious.
Actors are permitted? I would have to say Jim Carey, Rob Schneider, Adam Sandler and Robin Williams off of the top of my head. In all of their movies I laughed a lot. Unless if some of them weren't meant for comedy. I haven't watched any non-comedic movies any of the people that I've mentioned have made. In Don't mess with the Zohan I laughed the most with Adam Sandler. Jim Carey is a little tougher. I love all his movies. Yes man was a good one. Rob Schneider. I can't really choose with him since he has made so many good comedic ones.
