I'm having major trouble with him. I'm Hydraulic Sonny and I've tried him on both Strength-based and Instinct-based Hydraulics. I've tried with different strategies to take him down each time but I can never get him past 60k, I got him to 3k once on Instinct-based, but that was only because Tick Tock didnt start coming until 40k, and for some reason it starts coming at 80k now.
Regulate him constantly at the beginning, force him to run out of focus until he reaches 50%. Get flash freeze and ice wall to give yourself a breather in bad situations. Once he's below 50% health just play defensively, wait for his Holy Scars to activate then put everybody on ruthless and hit him hard until it wears off. Rinse and repeat, you'll still need a fair bit of luck though.
Hydraulic is pretty well known for having the most work to do on the Baron, unfortunately.
Baron is simple on any class. Look at kingpong's cold hydraulic legend run guide. He has the baron for HEROIC MODE, which is EVEN HARDER than challenging. Of course I have already beat all three classes on heroic, one with legend.
