It's obviously a fruit. Why would it be even be thought of as a vegetable?

My friend told me story about how these guys that sold fruit and veggies, and because they would get 50% more on vegetables, they tried passing it as a vegetable.

I seriously doubt that is what happened, but I lol'd.
