Cool I have monster hunter tri also , I finished the low rank quests a while ago and have just beaten a deviljho <3 Woo it took forever to capture him Hmm I am trying out a new strategy for agnaktor here is the setup , Uragaan armor with a bowgun the full royal ludroth set XD Simple but it sounds like it will work (I use all the weapons so I like trying lots of weapons on a single monster !
i have tri but i havent played in forever, ive beeten offline,and i think that i was trying to find a party to do the altareon with last time i was on, i primeraly use the lance, i dable in a few things other then lance's but i dont use them alot
Great game, although I haven't played it in a long time (last year of my IB Diploma...UGH!) I barely played online because I did not quite get the grip on it, but in May I'll be done and start playing again I hate capturing monsters btw, it is so freaking HARD!!!

Oh yeah. That first capture one was such a pain. I must have killed the Great Jaggi 6 times before capturing it. Im mostly a great sword user myself and I haven't really tried out the online part of the game yet.
Online is awesome it gives tons of new feel and weapons/armor to the game If you have the Us version of the game I can send you my character code and name so we can hook up
