To be brief, what do you think is the most overated sort of media, food, weapon, chair, spice, paint, planet, etc. Anything at all. The most bizzare thing will do.
Justin Beiber is an overrated little child. He just sings what his song writers make and then BAM! A billion copies sold in a week. Of course that was a little exaggerated but you get the idea.
I was literally about 2 seconds from posting that. He sings really pretty (and high) and BOOM! A 17 year old teenager is suddenly the most popular and hated thing on the planet.
I would say Miley Cyrus. She is just another girl that is trying to sing. Or other singers. I have noticed that the people who have idols don't see their idols's mistakes. Someone made a video that Miley Cyrus was using drugs (I haven't watched it someone just told me) and the fans think it is normal and still like her. Any other singer that made something very wrong is still appreciated by his fans. =/

I wouldn't consider salvia a drug. It's just a hallucinogenic. It's not a big deal about her doing it either. There are plenty of more people that do it and countless other celebrities that have done worse. But the media always needs to mess with someone. And salvia is legal in most countries and most parts of the United States.

Well, I didn't know that because I am not from USA. I know people have done worse and that was what I mean with my las post but I don't think it was well-written.
In my opinion, Art and Football(soccer). Jackson Pollocks painting reached $151.8 million... Because of the enormously big prizes, the art scene has become snobby and elitist, artists become businessman and the art pieces trophies for the richest. As for football, its maybe fun to watch but its a dirty money-making machine for a long time now, and its way too much forced upon the media in Europe and rest of the world except maybe USA.
just a tid? aside from JB here are some over rated things;
toyotas, the color blue, Metallica, any gerne of music that isnt rock of metal, base ball cards, Angry Birds, Final Fantacy XIII, ghost clan; (yes i know im a member so that kinda doesnt make sence, but u'll get it), Pikachu, Walmart, the ipod touch (there are much better ones out), Sonic the hedgehog (although hes awesome), the Mario series and the twilight saga
I think some video games are overrated too. I mean, in my country, to buy a game, it is like 100 dollars 1 GAME. Games are made to have fun not to spend all of our money on it.
Oprah is way overrated; She is a human being, not a god. She owns her previous network, yet she wants to start a new channel. It's even called the Oprah Winfrey Network. Sheesh.
