tips

Practice the sport.
Watch the sports regularly to see how they play and what you can learn from them.
Search up on the internet on proper technique of throwing the ball.
Try-out for a team at your school if you go to one. You could always join at the YMCA as well.

When I jump, I can touch the rim (10 foot basket). I was just wondering, about how high do I have to be over the basket to dunk in it?

your hand would have to be at least one ball length over the rim i guess. sounds logical.

Basketball has been a popular sport for most Americans. About Basketball, it's really not a favorite... I like football better.

Your hand where it lifts the ball has to be 1 ft. above the rim.

well pending on how big your hands are, you want the rim around 2-3 inches past your wrist
