Your completely wrong Modern Warfare 3 is not the space-based future COD that was rumored to in the works. That game is being made entirely by Sledgehammer games and has been put on the back burner for now by Activision. Currently Modern Warfare 3 is in production, with Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer games working on the single player while Raven Software is handing the multiplayer aspect. Who will make MW3 if INFINITY WARD NO LONGER EXISTS. Activision got angry because they are greedy poopheads and decided to fire the 2 masterminds in infinity ward who made the company over a billion dollars.
The alternating-year rule between TreyArch and IW is broken because there is only 1 studio making CoD there. Rumer has it that Activision hired Sledgehammer Studios to make CoD but I have no source for that.
Back to Black Ops: It is the least-frustrating most balanced CoD i have played. Remove Noob Toob and it would be perfect... almost.
The problem is that Activision wants a full game ready in only 2 years so you need to think of the idea quickly and start producton.
This lack of time to meet the deadline caused TreyArch to use old coding from previously Call of Dutys. I say give the studios more time so they can make a higher quality title.
All this MW3 is about Ghost is fake I believe, there has been no anouncement about who will make the next CoD or what will it be about.

Plus dudeguy45, Black Ops is what popped the series back up to some slight standards. Only problem is they DONE IT WRONG.
They done gameplay right, but many other things wrong.
MW2 had terrible gameplay but very good of everything else.

You are probably a noob then because you are upset that noob tubes are 3000 cod points and thats the only attachment you can get a kill with. Black Ops is nearly noob proof and I just wish Activision would give the studios more time to create a better game because many guns share similar stats.
black ops released with a lot of bugs on PC version and still have some. hope MW3 doesnt have this kind of problem...
The difference between IW and Trearch WAS that Treyarch listenes to the community and took their feedback and fixed bugs they complain about. IW did not liseten and made little to no patches and issuing no bans to 10th prestige hackers. Thus making the game utterly unplayable.

if modern warfare 3 isnt a commited server, its most likely not a good buy. they need to do some serious changes internally to the game before it becomes worth the buy. connection issues, matchmaking issues, glitch issues. all need to be fixed because there really dissapointing me here. no game is perfect, but maybe they should actually patch these glitches before they poop out the game
