As I drummer this is one of the main things I ever think about. I want to know who other drummers or people think is the best drummer. Please do not just say a name please say why you think this person is the best of the best.

Here is my list:
It is in no specific order
1. Keith Moon - The Who
This guy plays the drums as an instrument not a time keeper
2. Buddy Rich
He paved the road for drummers
3. Tre Cool - Green Day
This guys is my idol. He has so much energy and flies in the drums.


You can comment on other peoples favorite drummers but keep the feedback positive.

you do know that scott only played on there first album right (dude ranch) all the rest are travis barker.

I have tried playing toxicity several times can never get the fast parts on the toms and fills.

Now take a look at this 5 year old drummer!


^That is pretty AWESOME,but I have to say Rick Allen from Def Leppard,amazing band,and he can play really good with only one arm,because he lost his other one.

ok well really if you can read music, it should all come naturally to you. when your playing stuff like toxicity (quick learn, not hard at all) just think of everynote on a sheet of music, in your head. and it kinda just comes.

or atleast thats my take on things when i try and do hard stuff. also watch drum covers

Thanks it sounds like it works I try to write things out in my head and it usually goes good or like tap it out on my leg before I play on the drums.

ya i usually play on anything. like i have avid drummers syndrome. wherever i go im tapping on something

My friends mock me when I do that. I usually saw the beat out loud sometimes and they start copying me.
