it depends on time. i think the old sonic are much better then the old mario games. actually i think the old sonic games are better then the new ones too. but the new games are no match for either mario games. overall i will always like sonic games the best, doesnt matter in what random way they will ruin him in the next game
Sonic - Fastest animal/person in a video game. The game itself was very fast paced and enjoyable. I liked playing all the bosses and trying to defeat them. I looked at sonic as more of a game that you can just run around in with no soul purpose. In this day and time I like the sonic games then the new Mario ones.
Mario - has some of those power things that you can get a hold of that can make you fly and shoot fire balls or something like that. The games were longer then the sonic ones. I personally liked the Mario games. Especially when I was a child when I had the super Nintendo and nintendo64.
Mario back when I was a child was great. Sonic at the moment is better. They are both great games and I look at them equally, so I can't choose which one is better.
