I reading and I saw the quote that said "the more laws, the more offenders." This got me thinking about how it is true. So I basically drew up a list of what I thought were the hot topics about what should be legal and illegal.
No man - it's the other way around: companies can produce / sell more cheap than gangs can. How else can gangs afford all their weapons?
Companies can produce it cheaper, but gangs can sell it even cheaper if they wanted to. An AK-47 can cost around ten dollars in certain areas... so weapons are easy to come by. Besides, sometimes drugs are traded off for weapons. Companies on the other hand ... need money in order to produce, and produce they have to.

No - there are many costs associated with gangs. By legalization, you are removing the need for gangs, so people will have no need to buy from them. There is no way that gangs can sell things cheaper than companies.

Then you underestimate gangs, Einfach.
Legalization has nothing to do with gangs. There will always be gangs. And gangs have more then one source of income. And if you take away one source, they'll come up with another. If they cannot come up with another, they will adapt and create a spin-off of an already existing source.
You think gangs have always relied on drugs for income?
Drugs are simply there as a way to make money, but not the only way. When it comes down to it, drugs can also be considered a means for gangs to trade among one another.
If a gang is willing to spill blood in order to control their area of operations, then they are willing to undersell the government and every other company to make a profit.
^Legit businesses tend to have consequences when caught breaking the law. Gangs do not give a ****. legit businesses may try and undersell gangs, but then those very gangs can enforce their rule on said businesses. The Narcos show a very good example of this.

Because Gangs do not give a ****, they have a limited audience or a limited number of potential customers.

Point made.
However, I stand by the fact that if gangs were to undersell businesses, they'd take profit away from said businesses. Because there would always be those who would prefer to buy cheap.

Gangs are usually in an environment where they don't have to compete with private business. Most gangs may not be able to handle the loss of business that comes with the # of customers.
