I pronounce it Sawny, like Gantic said. It makes no sense for it to be Sony, and while the common pronunciation is Sunny, than I think it should be written like so. Sawny is just how the name looks based on the lettering if you sound it out.
Uh..Sunny, because that's how the english language works. In the U.S anyways. I suppose if you were British you'd say it a different way, seeing as how they stress vowels differently.
I'm going to say the correct pronunciation of 'Sonny' is 'Suhn-ee' That's how I've always said it and I searched 'Sonny' up in a dictionary and I got 'Suhn-ee'.

It's pronounced 'Suhn-ee' just as GhostofMatrix said. Or as others have said, 'Sunny.' Because that's how it sounds. Anyone saying 'Sony' needs to learn how to read and 'Sawny' is just... wha?
