i liked far cry one better for multiplayer and never got to paly story for eaither so i hve to say far cry was netter but i do have one good memory it was where me and some of my friends and i were jsut going around on one of the maps jsut blowing things up ahh good times

Far Cry 2 sucked. The plot was .(See what I did there) The random enemy encounters suck. There is always an enemy at a crossroad, which causes you to use ammo. The time at which guns decay is stupid. There is NO stealth at all. The enemies always know where you are.
I do agree with you on that, however i find that the free-roaming and beautiful scenarios, as well as different weapons used were a great plus to the game. Although it is annoying that there are enemies at every crossroad, there would be no fun by playing by yourself while exploring. You are able to sneak up on enemies if they are not facing toward you which allows there to be a feeling of somewhat stealth and the variety of guns is absolutely amazing. I know that not everyone ejoys it as much as me, but take into consideration of how much beauty went into one game.
okay heres a tip for the map surf on far cry one change the way your character is colored to green and keep it as the original guy then grab the sniper then just drive to one of the islands on the outside of the map (preferabley the one to the left of the big island with the rocket launcher on it if you are facing towards the sniper tower) then lie down in a bush so that you can see through it and bam best sniper spot eva and if you run out of ammo run across the land bridge grab the boat and drive to the sniper tower
