do you know the days that the stadiums turn orange, and city's are under siege of people with orange and red-white-blue suporter articles? that's when my team plays, the second of the world at last WC. (I am not proud of the final. it was really mean. I thought, is this voetbal (soccer) or football? (you say it in the same way...))
I think the author should have been more specific about the thread. I mean he should have put "soccer" because it is how Americans say. My favorite teams are Manchester United, Bayer Leverkusen, Barcelona, Milan and Atletico Mineiro (Brazil).
sorry for double post but I really think: why should it be the american way? I mean: okay, I understand that there are alot of americans at this forum, but I think that most europeans are with me if I say that I prefere 'football' over 'soccer'. it is the way it's called in the greatest part of the world.

I support Everton and I am from Liverpool. My mum wanted me to support Liverpool when I was a kid but I always used to say no to her about Liverpool and say Everton instead /\\ Everton is better than Liverpool.
