What types of food are in you're country? Or what are you're favorite foods from other countries? The meal I think has the craziest name in England is Chicken Tikka Masala. I've never tried it though.
Since my Mother's side of the family comes from Cuba, I find myself eating their cuisine almost everyday. I think the first time that I was introduced to this cuisine was when I was around age four when my grandmother fed some of her home-cooked food. The Cuban cuisine is delicious. Other days when my Father cooks we'll eat some Italian food. We'll usually have a mixture of both so that both sides of the family can choose what they would like to eat. For example: I prefer to eat Cuban food most of the time. My brothers prefer to eat the Italian food.
I am from holland. you know what I eat on my bred, preferably? chocolat sprinkles. and second? dutch cheese. oh, I am so stereotype...
(if you say: ieeuw, dutch cheese tastes like plastic: well, that may be because dutch cheese in other countries is often not dutch. =P)
my favorite foreighn food... hmm. hard.
-pizza -schnizel. -spazle -chinese food. oh, wait, the chinese food here is everything exept chinese =P -fries -the delicious kinds of pie and cake that come from the german bakers just at the other sidee of the border.. -pudding -wraps -chrisps -should I go on?

That's such a drab reason to fall into depression. (There's something horribly wrong with you.)
My father's from the Philippines and I lived there for a few years. Here. I've consumed most of the dishes and foods mentioned in that article. Nom nom nom.
@Matrix
Sounds good.
To reiterate Jaza, I could also go with meat pies. Though they aren't unique to New Zealand. Speaking of New Zealand, I'd have to mention the Pavlova. However I hate meringue, the Pavlova being based on that dessert food. Aussies still claim the Pavlova to be theirs, but y'know what side of the argument I'm on.
The Maori, NZ's indigenous people don't really have any particularly outstanding and unique dishes but the traditional method of earth oven cooking they use called hangi is pretty notable. Food is cooked by hot rocks buried in a cooking pit. Still used for special occasions, cooking food in your backyard.
It's somewhat similar to the above-ground method of cooking (called umu) they use in the Polynesian country of Samoa, where my mother came from. Yeah.
