I have a small stash of fireworks and want to set them off next week. Mostly colorful stuff and not the huge aerial shells you see at Spring Festival . The cabbies tell me to go beyond the third ringroad . I'm thinking of someplace that is pretty empty at night . I live in Haidian so location matters a bit. I'm thinking outside the Old Summer Palace , but the associations with the anglo-french use of explosives might not go over well to someone in a uniform. Any specific ideas?
Okay, I looked up the place and I think I got the right one. So the best place to set some good fireworks off is at a park or in a open area. If you can get acess to a roof top, those are usually good places to set of fireworks, as long a it doesn't end up falling down to the ground floor of the building and causeing damage. Try to stay away from trees and junk (common sense). Oh and if you don't want trouble with the cops and if your underaged, best to bring an adult with you. And in some areas I see that you may need to buy a slip that shows you have permission to use fireworks. Good luck and have fun!
I don't know much about the place where you are. But, I would suggest a place where no one could get harmed. Preferably near a desert or ocean? Maybe near a lake. . . .
