I'm not really sure if there is already a thread about this, but what do you guys think about the new NGP? Do you think it would be a flop like the PSP? Or do you think, the next generation games would be a hit?
He's talking about the successor to the PSP. You know, I haven't read up on it so I don't really know what to say but the PSP wasn't a flop. It was successful, but was largely overshadowed by the DS.
The major downside about the NGP will be the sealed battery, which means for the moment Sony will charge you an arm and a leg for replacements, and if you run out, you're pretty much SOL.
It apparently has 3G though, and two screens, one of which is a touch.
I duno I think it will suck horribly first cause they are making so many new add-ons to it that it will be as glitchy as ****. I agree with Kyouzou about sony charging you alot for bat replacements. But like I said before it is gonna be like the iPhone releases with the first versions being ****.
The graphics chip in the NGP is the exact same as the one in the PS3, in addition it also has the motion sensing software that is int he PS3 controllers.
It might be glitchy but I doubt that, Sony is not known for making half-assed products, and this technology is no longer 'new' per say, they've had a lot of time to develop it.
