Well, these days, people are getting more and more experimental and creative with the beats in music. It's becoming more than just the words-if you have a good beat, you have a good song. I myself love instrumentally experimental music, and also music that makes you smile. Anyways, leave your opinion on today's music and listen to this cool band:

Music today is gaining strength, minus the pop morons and sellouts, if you even consider it music (i don't, not artisty, no talent, just auto-tuned, computer produced bull$hit...Beiber/Gaga/anything on the mainstream radio)

Real music exists in your local venues, at your grassroots festivals, and anywhere where a group of individuals gather together to create art...not make a buck.

Lotus (Electronic Rock/ Instrumental)
Papadosio (Electronic Rock)
The Silo Effect (Psychedelic Electronic Rock/Instrumental)
The Pnuma Trio (Electronica/Instrumental)
Sound Tribe Sector 9 (Electronica/Instrumental)
Former Champions (Jam)
The McLovins (Jam)
Umphrey's McGee (Jam)

Enjoy

The Dance of Eternity = Dream Theater's GREATEST instrumental in history though.

I like instrumental music for Flash Games, but it still sounds pretty cool anyway. =)

Animals As Leaders are a great instrumental band if you're into progressive metal.

And, as always, you got your guys that do guitar oriented instrumentals like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, John5, Jeff Loomis, etc.

love instrumental, and i love how it can still be created in s many genres too. some of my faves:
Ronald Jenkees: Guitar Sound, Throwing Fire, STS9 Collab, Disorganized Fun
Angels and Airwaves: Star of Bethlehem
Third Eye Blind: Slow Motion Instrumental (even though taken from original song w/ lyrics, still awesome)
Funkadelic: Maggot Brain
