What is your most memorable lego set that you have gotten or seen? My would be the Knight's Kingdom Castle set i got when i was younger! Good times. I remember i was so excited i ripped all the packagings open. The packets were numbered. So intead of a 2 hour project, i had a 9 hour project trying to find the pieces that went where. That is my favorite memory as well about legos.
My most memorable (and favorite) set would be the TIE Fighter (from '01). Got it when I was 6. Spent 30 minutes putting it together, but had countless hours of fun.
Came with a TIE Fighter, Storm Trooper, TIE Pilot, and a little stand thing. Would run around the house making all the space noises (SWOOOSH!, PEW PEW PEW!) and pretending my cat (may he rest in peace) was a giant space monster from whereever they had giant space monsters.
I don't think he enjoyed that very much...
And I spent the nights after school making one of those clone drop ships from Episode II. When I had finished, I was going to show it off, but ended up dropping it down the stairs. I was flabbergasted.
Do Bionicles count? I always liked those. They were very fun and not to hard to put together, but I stopped liking them as much because the new ones are just plain easy.
My most memorable would have to be that indian chief one from 97. Mostly because it was my first lego set so it took me two hours to build. Man that thing entertained me for three years. My other one would have to be the lego X-Wing fighter. I mixed it up with my indian chief set and acted like the stromtroopers were robots from the futre trying to destroy the past. Man I had some good memories of that.
lol, My favorite was either my mars lander, that was fun. Or the original box-o-legos I got with my Halo game for a B-day. I built countless halo weapons with it
I once made a vehicle that had wings, four wheels (two thick ones in the back), a steering wheel, boosters, and a driver. It was indestructible. I still have it. It was 5" by 6".
most memorable for me were when I got Bionicle Keetongu.since it was my firts (and last!) "big" bionicle character. Before that I had only those "normal" sized bionicles... And getting that blue vahki soldier (dont remeber name, and tolazy to check :P) was also memorable, since it was my first blue "enemy" (enemy of Toas), adn blue is my favourite color

I agree, nowdays Bionicles are like build in 10 parts, when earlier there were much more parts...
My brothers and I had several sets from all different movies and brands. We jumbled them up and made awesome combinations. Did anyone else do that?
I did!Mostly 95% of my overall lego creatons (however bionicles arent counted on that) are combinations with other parts or them just random sett-ups :P
Actually most memorable leo thing which I build my own, w as a large attcking fortess which had 5 machineguns,1 big canon and some more things.I still have got it, I have keep it in one piece like 3? years...
I don't really remember the sets, but I do use the special pieces from each of them. It's SOOOO annoying that when i'm trying to make something, it would help a lot if I had a little special piece, and then you see some really poorly put together set that has 4-5 special pieces that it wouldn't even come close to working without >.<

The same thing happend to me with the same set. Lol. And when I FINALY finished I fell on it. It went EVERYWHERE I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
The best set ever is the Master Set, which they don't sell anymore. They literally had more than a thousand bricks in there, which they put in a box. You could build houses, cars, giant Lego robots, or basically anything with it. Too bad they don't sell any anymore, because I lost a lot of pieces over the years.
