I'm looking forward to Adept's new album, Death Dealers, which'll be released in March.
Also heard someone mention that Billy Talent's working on a new album, but I have no idea of how it's going or when it's done, but I'm looking forward to that too.
rumor has it... Sonata Arctica has been working on a live version of the albums Unia and/or The Days of Grays :3... I heard it was supposed to be released this year, but who knows... I would be happeh beyond comprehension if it were so
As for me, I want Rush's Clockwork Angels to be released. Not a huge fan of recent Rush, but meh. I also hear Tool is releasing something... do want.
rush..... ftw.....
Mastodon announced they were making a new album, so thats something I would look forward to.
mastodon.... ftw even more....
dream theater went back into the studio to record officially like i think 2 days ago so we should be hearing from them later this year.
they should also be announcing there new drummer by july because they are playing that show in england i think with judas priest. (even though we pretty much all know its going to be mike mangini)
New Sum 41 album coming out next week! New Protest the Hero album coming out at the end of March. New Foo Fighters album in April. Mastodon are writing a new album. Megadeth are writing a new album. Metallica are writing a new album (although that probably won't be out for another 10 years lol).
Anyone know when Weird Al's new album is coming out? I can't wait to hear it, but I can't find a release date anywhere! Megadeth's newer stuff has been pretty good too, but I prefer the older Judas Priest and Iron Maiden stuff. The new Metallica album is in production? It probably WILL take 10 years to release, but I prefer Ride the Lightning or Metallica(Black Album). I actually prefer old releases over new releases, but Something For Everybody (new album by Devo) was actually pretty good, as far as I've heard. Rush has been coming out with new albums that just don't sound very good, give me Exit: Stage Left anyday over Clockwork Angels!
Um, the new REM album is coming out soon. There last album, Accelerate in 2008, was really good, I think a sort of revival for them. The new Them Crooked Vultures, Foo Fighters, and Red Hot Chili Peppers albums are due out in 2011, but no release date has been made. Also, the Weird Al is taking forever, but he is a perfectionist in his old age, lol.
Endgame does look like a good album, Rise Against is a great band, im kinda upset that they called their new album but the same name as Megadeth's most resent one. if its not better (which is HIGHLY unlikely i will be very mad at them.
one album from 2011 thats already been released is Stratovarius' Elysium, and (along with every other album released in the last 3 years by bands i like) it is pure genius. why's i say that? cuz, im saying that there is a trend going around with new metal albums! and hope fully these albums to be released will follow it:
