Golden:Just admit magic users are best Fate: Lol i wouldnt even if rangers were not. 12:Yeah thats right even if warriors are not. Goldenfate12:Oh hello there i was just argueing which role is best, hmmm that gives me a idea. Why dont you tell us about YOUR favourite role and why? Now back to the argueing... Golden:Hmm im just wondering which day magic will be the only one Fate:In your dreams rangers already rule 12:Well warriors still will take over after you guyz take over
i like magic casters the best. they have the most interesting fighting styles, they can heal, attack and defend and with a smart use they can win almost any battle
We have finally decided rangers are good for all of us so we choose rangers because they have a nice range so they can efficiently retreat and fast and strong firepower.
When it comes to games, i play as a mage if i can become a Necromancer, a Ranger if I dont feel like being a warrior, and if i become a warrior i become as rouge and as assassin like as i can.
I find that the class I play varies from game to game. In some I like being a melee fighter, in others I have more fun being a mage or wizard or whatever caster they have. Other times I like to be a ranged(non-magic) fighter, or sometimes even a healer.
Usually I play a warrior. I'll also do magic from time to time (especially in Two Worlds 2. Magic is the bomb in that!). If at all possible, I'll end up doing both. Like what I do in Oblivion 75% of the time.
I like sneaky classes the most, archers second. I don't know why, but there's just something about stealth that I find awesome. That, and I prefer classes that fight with speed, agility and skill rather than just raw strength.
for me im always a warrior or barbarian.....hack chop slash etc, right in the face the most action, yeah i know more vunerable to range but im the type to rush and plow
Unless healing is weak, a healer class, if able to heal equal to the damage taken, will always win. Period.
Ummm . . . no. MP is limited - the healer will run out of MP and other backup resources due to lack of offense, and will fall to a warrior class eventually. Other mages are dependent on MP supply and other resources, pertaining to how they fare against healers.
I usually go for a warrior class first time to figure out the mechanics of the game and get a hold of how it works, and then do a second playthrough as a mage so I can maximize my manipulation of the mechanics to my advantage.
Depends what game i'm playing. If it is a simple RPG (Gothic, NWN, Two Worlds etc. ) i would use a mage, and if it's more complex ( The Elder Scrolls) probably a Warrior-Tank class.
this is a fact: Mage is the weakest at the beginning ( low lvl ) and the strongest when high level ( Singleplayer RPG )
actually i dont think so. a mage is always strong. until everyone levels up (including him) but in some games lelvel up wont give you a new magic so you stay with the weaker magics until you get a stronger one. until you do, the mage is really weak. but when you do he is really strong again.
