Okay so today I logged out my computer (Windows 7 Operating System. I logged it out not turned off.) I was away form the computer for a couple hours. I came back and the screen was black as usual (power saving mode). I move the mouse around so the screen will come back on. The screen does. I go to type in my user password and the screen goes black again. I then repeat to move the mouse around to turn the screen back on. Nothing happens, still black. Okay, I shut the screen (It's a laptop) and open it. Still black. Then my computer's power light turns off (the light on the power button). Strange, but sometimes this happens. I close the screen again and open it. The computer boots up.
The next problem. I'm on my computer for a few seconds and all of a sudden the screen resolution goes to 800x600 and the computer looks like it's in safe mode. I try to change the screen setting to normal. Nothing happens. I try a second time. The screen setting change back to normal. A few seconds go by and the screen goes back to 800x600 and it looks like it's in safe mode again. Then the screen goes back to normal.
It seems to be working fine now. The Norton Antivirus Scan I did earlier said the computer was clean and the Malwarebytes scan also said the computer was clean and the Hijackthis log file doesn't seem to have any obvious problems.
What happened? Has this happened to you? Any help or suggestion?
Most of us probably aren't tech troubleshooting experts. I suggest you go to some relevant sites offering computer solutions. Online communities are good.

I probably will soon, but I figured if something similar had happened to someone on the forums they might know.
(By the way, I'm still working on the trophy image for the quiz. It's half done. You did very well on it too!)
