Let it be. Once the David Bowie toxin enters the veins, there is nothing you can do to reverse it. Your friend is beyond salvation now and any attempt will only add to his suffering.

Sorry about your loss.

Well, if nothing can change what he thinks so just respect him for what he is. People are all different and we don't need to like it, but we need to respect the others.

Lets us see here... YOu could just leave it alone OR you could attempt to introduce him to some new music. It could be similar to his taste or you could try to show him a different version of music you may like or not. You have to make him open up his mind to more of a variety.

Am I the only one who considered 'murder him' to be a viable option?

That was a joke, by the way, I do not in any way endorse the murder of David Bowie fans - Justin Bieber fans however...

Oh, haha.

I do endorse it even though I don't ever remember listening to David Bowie.

I've never listened to David Bowie, perhaps that was a good thing.

Now, now, you can't kill the fans, he sounds so feminine it's deceptive really.

I was gonna two word spam "shoot him", but then I saw your comment. So no, you aren't the only one.

I'd suggest making him listen to Lady GaGa. If he arbitrarily hates Lady GaGa, say he's being irrational. It won't help. It's an unwinnable battle.

Aquire a taste for David Bowie. This way, you have something to do with your friend. You could also, find music similar to him, and maybe expand his taste in artist to two musicisians.

Though, I hear people have a hard time swimming with bricks around there necks. I'm not saying that's relavent, but I'm just puting it out there.

I recommend exposing him to other similar artists, like Elton John.

Make them watch the movie "The Labyrinth". I'd like to know the effects.

You know, the movie where David Bowie was a goblin?

I would advise the OP to put him out of his miserable misery.

like im confused what you mean bro. like is he just ignorant to EVERYTHING. or does he just like david bowie and not really listen. cause theres a big difference. if hes like, "dave bowies drummer is better then neil pert" then id just straight punch him. but if hes like "idk i only listen to david bowie" then id just not talk to him about music

find you an other friend.

why didn't someone else concider this option? I have some friends who only like MCR, fall out boy, and this kind of bands. but because I like those bands too *not die hard, I like other bands too* we have something to talk about.
