I was just watching the news about this new bacteria fighting thing called sharklets. It was this diamond pattern that keeps bacterea from sticking to it. This is kind of intresting. Does anyone know more about this??
This is what I found - it is simply a surface that prevents bacteria from growing biofilms. It does not outright prevent bacteria from growing, to my understanding. It prevents bacterial growth because for the bacteria to establish a biofilm, a lot of energy would be required because the way the surface is.
