Well as I said earlier, forcing an update should fix it. But if it will delete any mods you have, perhaps you should just redownload them after you force an update.

Do you think it might be one of the mods you downloaded causing it to crash? Or have you used each for a time before on the latest update? If it's a mod for an older version, that might be causing it to crash.

I love that you can be completely expressive and creative in Minecraft, never run out of different things to build, or try, and its updated quite frequently so more and more content to play with

Okay so I made a texture pack of my own and when I removed it, the texture still looks like mine. I deleted the .minecraft folder several times and force updated so many times nothing happens. What can I do...? I'm getting a little irritated.
I have minecraft on my laptop and i only have 2 mods but that's the reason i don't upgrade. I suck at installing mods, i always f*ck the tutorial's up so i don't want to upgrade and i don't want those pistons. I wish there was a tool so you can install mods like OBMM for oblivion.
