It's not my server it's Green_Cream_Soda's, the forums for it are here, http://mc.cole2sworld.com/ you have to register on the forums for free to play on epic. The main server, mc.cole2sworld, I don't like as much because it lags for me and there's a ton of people, so I play on epic which has a good group of players.
Im going to screenie your fails and save them and upload them to the internets for lulz
so it has been announced that 1.7 will no longer be the adventure update, that will be 1.8, but 1.7 will have pistons, and most likely a few bug fix's, and 1.8 will most likely have TONS of stuff and will be awesome, notch also sed that 1.8 will be that last major update before the official release of miecraft sometime in November, so i vary much look forward to seeing some awesome things made with pistons once 1.7 comes out, he sed that it will be soon
I Love mine craft and found a web site that lets you play the latest free mine craft betas available the site is http://minecraftforfree.com/ ...enjoy!
Well, I have to say, pistons were a HUGE let down. There's 3 MAJOR limiting factors to how they operate.
1) An extended piston cannot move
2) Sticky pistons do not stick, they simply pull when they retract. An object next to a retracted sticky piston will not move if the sticky piston moves.
3) "Retracting" is near impossible to do via redstone if there are more than 2 pistons in a series.
In essence, Notch utterly BUTCHERED the possibilities of pistons. You are now limited to very simple 1-2 block movements, opening walls, opening flood gates, etc. There's no chance of elevators that go floor to floor or extending bridges.
notch you silly joker! you sortta ruined the pistons!
also on a sidenote the map 1337 is very 1337! i just made charcoal and some sticks and i was done so i ran around collecting wood! already in the same night...
i have found 48 coal i have found 20 iron it has rained i have put in windows!
Yeah, Spartandestroyer, I have no idea what you want yours to look like lol. I do know however how to make what you're talking about, as that's about 1/2 of the automaticly repairing bridges and roads. The biggest limitation to this is that a piston can only push 12 blocks.
