I'm fine with you uys tryin to get likes on facebook, and what ever else, but I find it slighty unnervin that it bring up peoples names. If I click that name, it takes me to there facebook page, givin me first, last name, and a picutre of them. I know this isn't a big deal, but that seems creepy when most of the users on this site are under 18. If you want to say you have however many likes, cool, but don't list people who have liked it.
Am I being ridicluous? Probably.....What are others opinons on this?
Yeah. And I find that window pretty ugly too. It doesn't fit the site theme at all. A simple F button linked to ag's facebook page would be better in my opinion. However, people on facebook usually don't care so much about their info going to strangers, I suppose.
It only shows the faces of people who "like" our fan page at facebook.com/armorgames ... And it'll only show the same information as if you'd searched for them manually and click through to their profile from the search results. If you set your profile to 'rivate', you wouldn't show up in that list.
As a site, we have no control over what Facebook renders in that box. But we *are* looking for more ways to reach people, post announcements, and so on, to announce new games, etc.
I think it should just be the Facebook logo, with maybe how many likes you got. But you could contact them and ask them. If they refuse, kick them off.
I am just glad that advertisement isnt on the forums background. The Grimoires mystery thing. It wasn't there for me last night, then poof! there today. I understand you all have to make money though. I am just very used to scroll clicking to scroll. I never really normal scroll. But instead of scrolling it opens another tab.
If that face book think annoys you that much you could always block it.
I had to go into IE to look at it. I had no idea it was there.
On point, please review your Facebook settings. There is a way to set that your profile picture is not visible to those who are not your friend.
Reminder: Armor Games and Facebook are both public websites. When you sign up with Facebook, they can do whatever they want with your information if you do not control it. It's up to you, not Armor Games.

Your highly limited by what you can limit. For instance your picture and name will always show up. Facebook also sells your personal information to outside corporations no matter what your privacy setting is. Also it extremely easy to trick people to reveal their full profiles. Just go find a friend and make an account by that name and message the person with "hey I made a new account add this one". Oh have you ever tried to delete your facebook account? No apparently button? Facebook tries to prevent you by making it hard to do so.
Funny how AG tries to be original but yet jump right into the social media train. Too too! </rant>
