Hi there, I'm starting this new topic about games that you find inspiring or has captivated your heart and mind.

I have seen some other posts about the best flash game, action game or RPG but so far I haven't heard anything said about mentally uplifting games.

To start this off, one of my inspiring games I enjoyed playing was the 'Colour my...' series. Please post your favourite games here as well

Another beautiful game is Pixel. I can't say it's inspiring because it doesn't have any storyline, but it's extremely beautiful, the music, the colors, everything. And, of course, Exit Path, but is so awesome as a game that people forgot the inspiring part soon XD

I have played the Gateway games. I liked it very much, it is odd but made me feel good. Canabalt is a good game too but I am not good at it.

Great to see this post taking off =]

Another game which I found inspiring hasn't been mentioned yet on this topic. The "Illusionist's Dream" was a deep, meaningful game about coping with the death of someone you love and I would recommend it.

I found the 'Gateway' series, played it and I think it is a emotional example the fears of every parent when their child is growing up.

Canabalt is a new one I haven't seen so I'm going to try that one now.

My favorite inspiration (form a game that is) would definitely have to be Fez. It hasn't been released yet, but it's a beautiful indie game produced by Polytron. Link to their website if you're interested, I recommend you check it out! ^^

Arrow of Time really got me, how it was drawn is beautiful, it was that game that got me into drawing and bow and arrows, lol.

I've tried Canabalt now and it is a good game, but I'm not that good at it myself.

I not sure if someone has already posted this, but I think 'One Step Back' and 'The Other Side' are both puzzling yet interesting games to play. There is a good moral at the end and the gameplay is excellent.

I think a very inspiriting and relaxing game is Music Catch 2. I like the songs and the game is pretty simple.

Just finished playing 'Tower of Heaven' and thought it had an uplifting ending. The gameplay was short, although quite challenging but it linked perfectly with the texts and end speech.

'Music Catch 2' looks interesting so I'm going to give it a go and come back later on.

Well, I have now played 'Music Catch 2' and I agree with you Pedro, the music is calming and very relaxing. I think it's great when I'm feeling stressed out or frustrated.

I have also tried playing 'Arrow of Time' and it is pretty good. The design was excellent and the ability to combine different types of arrows was a creative feature. The enemies which the player had to fight was also quite interesting and beautifully drawn.
