This RPG is based on the books by John Flanagan: Ranger's Apprentice
This RPG will be based on the same characteristics of the area it happens in, with most of the same people from the books.
You start out by getting hired by Will, the main character from the books, as a Ranger. I've made some changes to this, though: Will, the guy who hires you, is not a boy any longer, in this game, he is a 40 year old. Halt, his old mentor, is still in it, but he is retired now.

You will level up acording to the certain type of metal used to make you clover badges; the more valuble the metal, the higher you go, until you get to gold (i've made platinum less valuble in this, to help stay more to the book)... Gold clover badges means the Ranger wearing it has retired. Also, Molgorath (different from Morgorath, from the Spiderwick movie) has returned, and you must defeat him.

"Welcome to Ranger Training, Renegade," Says Will,"Your first training is some "simple" target practice." "You see these woods behind me? It has ten targets in them, I want you to get a bullseye on every single one. But there is a catch: I've asked for some of the kings guard to help me train you here, and will be patroling those woods. So, you must get a bullseye on all ten targets WITHOUT being seen by the kings guards". What do you?
If you think i made this a bit challenging, go and pick up the first Ranger's Apprentice book, and you will find out that Ranger's cloaks are specially designed to help camoflauge the wearer.
A few things, just if you're going to be canon. -His name is Morgarath. -Halt would be dead. He was already old. -It's an oakleaf badge, not a clover. -Apprentices start with a recurve bow, not a compound bow. Anyway, looks like a fine RPG, but thar corrections so it will be better. I'm not joining, either. Just because I'm already in too many RPGs.

oh, ok...i changed the bow for you, lol. And Halt was in his forties at the time he hired Will, so he could still be alive as an 80 year old, you know?

You have gotten all the targets. You head back to Will, and he says: "Congrats on completeling the first part of your training." Your next part is to train a horse to help you get around easier." He whistles, and a mangy small pony came walking out of a nearby stable. "He dont look like much, but Tug here has helped many times. Go into that stable, and you will find three more Ranger horses in there, you must choose one of them." You walk into the stable, and find a black one, a greyish white one, and a brown one. Which one do you choose?

When you finish the line of apples to Will, he asks,"What are you doing?" But at that same moment, the grey horse comes walking out, picking up every single apple on it's way, and will says, "well, thats a new one, Congrats you have begun the training of your horse. Make sure you feed it other things besides apples, cause they get really fat if thats all they eat." What do you do now?

This time, the horse comes more willingly, and follows you to the prairie. It then starts grazing, while you check out your surrondings: You see the castle, the woods, the infantry training grounds, and you see a little cottage down on the edge of the trees, with smoke coming out of it's smoke stack. What do you do?
