Can anyone here on AG help me with Win 7 themes? And i mean THEMES Not desktop pictures. I can't find a good video that explains how to install THEMES (By themes , i mean icons and everything changed)
Well the standard Windows 7 themes that you get don't really do that much. If you truly want to take it all the way, as in fully customized then for what you are asking about you have to go a little bit further out of the box...as in modding. The first thing you would need to do is patch some system files to remove the 3rd party visual style restrictions set by Microsoft. You can either use UxStyle core or Universal Theme Patcher. If it is something you truly want to do then I could recommend a site and offer you assistance on the matter. Just know that it can get pretty complicated. Here is a screen of my desktop for example, I am running full glass for complete window transparency and a custom VS called Pandorum by Razorsedge of Virtual Customs. If you really do plan on doing what I have done then MAKE SURE YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING. I cannot emphasis that enough. If you are going to do anything like that then ask me first so I can help you out, because I don't want you to end up messing up your computer. Like RedLlama said, deleting the wrong file or moving the wrong file to the wrong place can have some pretty bad results. Overall it is pretty safe if you know what you are doing though
