I'de say my favorite is Darth Vader, he is sooo awsome. I also thnk the classic villain is Bowser and Ganendorph because they are the beggining of villains.

Because he always has clenched fists of anger or a symbol of strength?
Oh, unless he's blocking lasers.
My favourite I have no idea, but I'm going to take a shot and say "The Harbinger" from the end of Mass Effect 2. Very nicely done and his voice fit in perfectly with the backround music and @ss-wooping I hope you gave him (taking a loss doesn't necessarily mean you owned :P ).
Or I guess you could include the Zerg from StarCraft II. I mean... COME ON! They are a hybrid of every race ever in the Koprulu Sector genetically altered to follow the commands of the Overmind (and later, Kerrigan who herself is a Human-Zerg hybrid). Plus, one of the main planets they live on, Char, is a freaking Super-volcano waiting to happen - how do they survive that? Genes, my friends, genes.
Hrmm... There isn't much better than that, in my opinion. Others that seem equally awesome are often unexplained and thus lack immersion. If they add a backstory, they would be much better
I would have to say Fontaine from the first Bioshock, Spoiler Who ever thought he would be doing all of that ? making you do all he wants, making everyone think he is dead, and even after all he was your father, his mind is so sick, everything about him is awesome, the only thing i hate is when you fight him in the end, easy even on the survivor difficulty, first big daddy seem to be stronger than him...
Second would probably be Kerrigan, who ever kills that many of people and destroy races gotta be an awesome villain.
zombies are always the best because there are many of them. I would pic bowser after that.
Oh, I totally agree. I also think another awesome villain is Imran Zakahev from Call of Duty 4. I mean, he launched a couple of nukes in an attempt to destroy America. Pretty hardcore, huh?
