Hey people all of us being gamers have probably played call of duyt's nazi zombies and want more of it but the problem is that the makers of call of duty wont release a nazi zombies game so i ak of the flash game experts out there to contribute to the great heritage of flash game making angd make a nazi zombies flash game (if you wish to contact me look at my profile for my email and email me your thoughts ideas etc.) hope to hear from you soon!
There is a good number of zombie games on this site but a Nazi Zombie game is all from COD. I don't think it is a good idea and it should be hard to do a game like that. Boxhead games are cool.
I don't think anybody could make a Nazi Zombies Flash Game without permission. When somemade made the Nazi Zombies game for iPod, they had to talk to Activision/Treyarch for them to make it. I think you need permission.
You need permission otherwise you are stealing another companys copyright and you can be sued for it. I think I would just stick to my Call of Duty on the Xbox, I think a flash game would be terrible, and you could always by World at War/ Black Ops for the PC and play Nazi Zombies? Problem solved
SERIOUSLY!!!! I wonder when it would come out. But they should make it have a multiplayer type thing as well. Ask Black ops and waw people first though!
actyally you wouldnt need permission because nazi zombies has been done befor and has been done recently e.g. shockwaves older than call of duty series dead snow 2009 nazi zombies is a genre unless you use copyrighted stuff like der rise and nacht der untoten
I've never heard of one game company suing another because the games are similar. Maybe it's happened, but think of all of the WWII FPSs out there. I seriously doubt companies sue eachother all that often.
The Purpose of this article is to get the people who [b]do know how to make these games to make one as far as copyright goes, you dont need to worry you could copy the direct nazi zombie story with names and everything and call it a tribute, inspiration or a fan-made flash version! I qout from an inter net article, "At the most basic level, a copyright is the protection of an expression, not an idea. The famous case of Baker v. Selden solidified that point. In Selden, a series of accounting books had been copyrighted, and the author contended that the copyright protected the accounting system because the books containing the system were copyrighted. The court explained the distinction between copyright and patent, which is simply that copyright protects expression, and patent protects ideas." and, another quote, "
Making a game that re-uses a general game idea that is already copyrighted is not infringement. For example, if I were to go make a new golf video game, EA couldn't claim infringement simply because they already make a golf video game." if you wanna read more about copyright in videogames heres teh link!
