What is at stake? Life on earth, or a penny?

Anyone that is not suicidary would not jump just like that because of a simple dare. That's plain stupid..

How high is said building?

Do I have a parachute?

Is there some kind of giant fluffy mattress at the bottom for when I land I am unharmed?

If so then I'll do it.

Otherwise, no. I value my life.

Depends from the building (and the reward). If the building is shorter than 7 feet I could jump.

Upon graduating from high school, I was &quoterson voted most likely to jump off a cliff for 'fun'". Upon graduating from university, I was &quoterson voted most likely to become a falls risk".

According to that, my answer to this question would be "yes".

The highest that I have jumped. . well not jumped, I sort of just dropped down. But, it was from my window to the drive-way. My room is on the second floor of the house. When I dropped down, it did hurt my legs.

Oh, I totally would throw my life (or unbroken bones and all) away because someone dared me. Totally.

... The heck, who would? Small child maybe? Thinking it wouldn't get hurt or that the hurt would be less than bullies daring? (I think I've seen a movie where that happened, actually. Poor little guy.)

If, however, I had some decent safety measures I'd do it. I wouldn't be opposed to go skydiving because of a dare either. If the one daring paid.

Dares aren't usually paid generally. You don't say " I dare you to go climb that tree! ... for a buck"

Those are bets. C:

ok so the building is 20 feet tall, you get $1000 if you do it,the ground is muddy and wet so its kind of soft and slippery

If the building was near the ocean then I would jump off...and if cash was at stake.

20 feet tall

Bah, that's not very high. Actually that would be just fine. I have dropped from a higher building before. So, this would be perfectly fine.
$1000

Just for dropping from twenty feet!?
Yes.

the building was near the ocean then I would jump off

Well, twenty feet is fine then landing in the water.
But, have you ever jumped from a taller height into water? That hurts. . .

ok. then, the building is 50 feet tall, the bottoms a rocky ocean (46% chance of survival),you get $2000 to do it.

Now, THAT would just be moronic. .

Rocky ocean? Your chances of getting injured greatly are increased. . and that survival rate is below half, so, no.

Well, it all depends on where you're jumping(scenery), how you are going to jump, are there any safety equipment, is the place safe, etc. . most of the time I wouldn't want to jump anywhere because I am afraid of heights.
