I hate soccer. There are so many better sports than soccer. Some how it's the most popular sport, but I don't understand it. Maybe the rest of the world lacks something to do. Every country loves soccer except the USA, thank god.
I used to play it awhile back and I play it at school with my friends sometimes. The sad thing is I'm good at it, but I only play it when there is nothing better to do with my time or if my friends ask me too.
The World Cup was great except for the finals. That game was a joke. Spain deserved the win, but both teams played badly. It was all physical with none of the gracefulness that soccer includes. Really disappointing.
The refs in the World Cup were also bad. When Germany lost in the group stages to Serbia, around 6 cards were given. The first yellow given shouldn't have been one, and then the ref had to keep the same requirements for other fouls. Stupid. Also, Germany vs. England, England clearly scored, but it was not counted because no ref saw it. Again, stupid, as that would have been an entirely different game. Not that I'm not happy with England's loss, they were a joke too, and Germany is my favorite national team, but I want them to win fairly.
Alright, club teams. I root for Bayern Munchen, but when they are knocked out of the Champion's League, I root for Barca, without a doubt. Messi is the bomb.
My favorite club in the EPL used to be Chelsea, but since Ballack left, it's now Everton. Man U is good, my best friend is obsessed with them, and I like them more now Renaldo's gone, but still not my favorite. Arsenal is dumb.
My first practice of the season was today, and it was snowing. It was 74 degrees yesterday. Not fun.
but international I like all teams that are german, and espaccialy wolfsburg.
