i listen to a large amount of dubstep and hardstyle cause i love to shuffle

The closest thing I listen to that is close to Techno is Mindless Self Indulgence or NIN. But Mindless Self Indulgence is pretty intense.

I'm not much of a techno person specifically, but there's a bit of pseudo- or quasi- techno that I listen to, and a little dubstep. Go for Burial (Untrue is AMAZING), Four Tet (There is Love in You especially), Aphex Twin (Richard D. James Album!), the Knife (Silent Shout especially), etc. Even Radiohead's new album is very nice percussive electronic that would be neat to check out.
