its extremely nerdy... but someone as awesome as myself still plays it. ive been playing so much (started on thursday) ive already got my guy to level 14. so yea buy it its worth the money
some people have a hard time quiting after they have played. i dont know why i had 3 level 75's and quit without a flinch. It is a fun game, but i would not pay that much per month.
Hell yeah before Cata I had 5500 GS Death Knoob running ICC scourge lord beast armor spankin rich I vroom vroom on my 20000 motor bike. Thats how I was when I played but then I quit.
Its worth it if you have real life friends to play with, or can find a good group of people. Being a MMO thats kinda obvious, but without that I found WoW to be horrible.
I don't really like it myself but I've got a friend who plays it a loooot, he of course thinks its worth the money, but if you play just watch out not to get addicted wich is very posible with WoW
I wouldn't play it. Some of my friends used to play it, and yeah it can be fun/addicting, but imho, it is definatly not worth the money.
I played Guild Wars for over 4 years, and it never really got boring, and it doesn't have any monthly fees.
My advice is that you wait till Guild Wars 2 gets released, which will hopefully be somewhere this year. It is going to blow everyones mind, pretty much has all the good things from every MMO. I've been following every news update and they tell alot about how they work and why they do it that way, and I think it's definitely going to be the best MMO around for quite a while!
