LOL is the only overused one. The other two, I haven't seen much of them around the internet.

Lol is quite overused, but I don't use it much. I usually say haha, hehe or stuff like that.

I've never seen anyone use that one before, probably because it makes no sense whatsoever.

"Rolling on the floor laughing out loud my *** off"...

Anyways, I don't really mind the abbreviation "lol", but more how it's used. It stands for "Laughing out loud", though I've heard it be said as "Lots of laughing" as well. Now, in my opinion, this should only be used when you're really laughing a LOT, and not in every second sentence. If you laugh your *** off after every thing you say, you're obviously insane.

Now, If you'll excuse me, I G2G, BBL, TTYL, Cya.

PS: Both G2G and BBL were accepted by my spell check, but LOL wasn't.

'Lol' is definitely overused. I wander around this site and basically see in each thread someone use it. I don't understand why people use it so often. Is the situation really that funny? I only use 'lol' when I'm actually laughing in real life. I've probably used it five times this week. I also go to certain xat chat-rooms to see how others act within them and people at those chat-rooms use it excessively. With 'rolf' I don't see that often. Only ever now and then. People mainly just use 'lol'. I have seen 'roflmao' used a few times, not as much as the previous two though. That has to be the least overused.

Some people actually use these words in real life (guilty) and I think it is kind of overused, why don't we just laugh?

Haha, same here :P. Anyways, rofl and roflmfao aren't used nearly as much; I rarely see them, maybe twice or three times a week.

I actually haven't seen very many people say ROFL or ROFLMAO. LOL is fairly overused.

Lol that was funny...

Anyway, I just use lol as an expression of humor. So in that case, I don't think it is overused. The other ones don't seem to be used that frequently.

if u go to chatroom everyone says them 24/7

Yep in chat rooms it's a nightmare, but in general, Rofl and Roflmao are usually not as overused.

Hmm... Some people just say LOL waaayyy too much, but i don't see much of the other 2 unless it's actually funny imo.

Every time someone uses any of those words I want to slap them until they stop. Seriously. It makes you sound stupid and uneducated.
